An Update

I must say that the last year has been a rough one. But then again, it's hard for me to remember when it hasn't been rough. It seems that we are cursed for every obstacle, difficulty, set back or inconvenience possible. At times we are hardly active - our existence has been loose. At times I sincerely believed we were doomed. Practices with perfect attendance can be be infrequent, finding a practice space has even been troublesome. Members come and go. The money only goes. I can only imagine what some people think about our band. Some might think we're a pathetic joke. However, I can say that we've made it this far. We all deeply believe in what For Hours and Ours is about. The name in itself implies a collective effort. Our efforts and hard work may not be visible, but our hearts are in this band.

I don't mean to say that our band's journey has been completely terrible and that we are these miserable beings. In fact, our existence mostly consists of dirty jokes, laughs, and straight up goodtimes. I guess I am just trying to justify our slow movement and our distance with the world . I hope people understand that it's been difficult, but we're still here and we're still pushing. I feel like we are about about to finish a chapter of our life as a band. As we close the exposition, we make our way for the rising action, our eye on the climax. We've made it this far and we're not stopping. Our fate is unknown, but anyways it's just another day. Let's rock.
